“Twelve ballistic missiles” on Sunday targeted the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, Arbil, and the US consulate there, Kurdish security forces said.
“The missiles were fired outside the borders of Iraq and Kurdistan, (coming) more precisely from the east,” the Kurdistan counter-terrorism unit said in a statement.
Nearby specialists said the rockets came from past the eastern line, proposing that the wellspring of the fire was Iran a country that uses impressive political and financial impact over its neighbor.
Meanwhile America has blamed these attacks on it in Iraq by pro Iran groups who want American soldiers complete departure from that region.
Iraq is home to many Kurdish fighters who want Kurdishtan and also a number of US troops who are fighting against ISIS (Islamic State Jihadist Group).
The Revolutionary Guards, the Islamic republic’s philosophical armed force, promised retribution on Israel for that assault.
The inside service in Arbil said “another structure” lodging the US department, which is situated in a private suburb of the city, was hit in Sunday’s rocket assault.

USA has said that there is no damage of any of it’s soldier. They also said that “We condemn this outrageous attack and display of violence,” a State Department spokesperson said.
Neighborhood TV station Kurdistan24, whose studios are not a long way from the US office, posted pictures on interpersonal organizations of its harmed workplaces, with imploded segments of bogus roof and broken glass.
“We censure this fear based oppressor assault sent off against a few areas of Arbil,” Masrour Barzani, the head of the state of Iraqi Kurdistan, said in an articulation.
“We approach the occupants to resist the urge to panic”.
The wellbeing service in Arbil said there were no setbacks.
