Seminole State College Lockdown ends – Police officer finished the lock down at the Seminole State College Sanford/Lake Mary grounds. School officials said it is safe for students to move around the campus and resume normal activities. Seminole State College said the Sanford/Lake Mary campus is locked down due to police activity. At around 11:09 a.m. Monday, an understudy on the grounds announced a dubious person to a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office school asset representative.

The understudy let the representative know that they saw an individual with what they depicted as a weapon in the pocket of a hoodie, authorities said.

The representative called the sheriff’s office who answered alongside Lake Mary and Sanford cops.

The grounds was quickly placed in lockdown. Representatives are scanning the grounds for the suspect. Understudies that are nearby are approached to go to the closest room and safe house set up
