Carr received a grant from the Leverhulme Trust and completed his study at the National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain before moving on to the Arts Educational Schools from 2003 to 2005 and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art from 2005 to 2008. Since earning his degree from LAMDA in July 2008, he has made appearances in BBC and ITV television shows as well as James MacDonald’s and Christopher Marlowe’s Dido, Queen of Carthage at the Royal National Theatre.
