After spending 7 years as refugees, they finally arrived in the United States in 1998, settling in Saint Petersburg, Florida. His father Marko had boxing experience when he was younger and began boxing at the age of 14 in a Florida gym. On his shorts, “SRB” is displayed along with the Serbian tricolour. Boxing Career
Radivoje Kalajdzic began his career in 2011. [1] On October 18, 2013, Kalajdzic defeated legendary light heavyweight Otis Griffin after just one round. Kalajdzic’s winning streak was ended by Marcus Browne in a highly disputed decision loss for the WBC United States title on April 16, 2016.
In 2014, he was recognised as the IBU Champion. He received criticism for his three-second knockout of Fabio Garrido on November 13, 2015. He joined Lou DiBella’s promotion crew in 2015.
News – A light heavyweight crossroads fight serves as the main event of the October 21 ShoBox tripleheader on Showtime, which also features four other unbeaten competitors.
One of Dmitry Salita’s prized up-and-comers, Ali Izmailov (9-0, 6 KO), is in the spotlight. The 29-year-old knocked out Ruslan Fayfer in 2020, and while he only fought once in 2021, his pace has increased up with three victories in 2022 alone. Radivoje Kalajdzic presents what appears to be his toughest test to date for him (27-2, 19 KO). Despite being a highly skilled fighter, “Hot Rod’s” lack of action has prevented him from having a significant influence.
His two biggest defeats to date came by knockout to Artur Beterbiev in 2019 and a phoney decision to Marcus Browne in 2016. The Salita-promoted Izmailov declared, “I am delighted to make my debut on SHOBOX against a very seasoned and accomplished fighter like Kalajdzic.” On October 21, I’ll bring my toolbox to work and demonstrate to the world why I’m the future of the light heavyweight class.
Kalajdzic, who resides and trains in St. Petersburg, Florida, claimed, “Not to disregard Ali Izmailov, since he’s a strong fighter, but I can affirm that I’m one of the finest light heavyweights in the world.”
I’m convinced that everyone will recognise that I belong in the same conversation as Dmitry Bivol, Gilberto Ramirez, Anthony Yarde, and those guys after this fight, which will place me in the running for a world title. I’m appreciative of the chance that my management and DiBella Entertainment were able to arrange with this fight. Come October 21, be prepared for my greatest performance.
