Early Life
When Neha was a child she along with her brother and sister used to sing Bhajans in Jagratas and continued to do so till she reached 16 years of age. She along with her brother and sister did not receive any vocal training in singing. They all were trained at home. During that time her father ran a small samosa shop outside a college.
Her family lived in rented home in only single room to afford to live whole family and faces so many financial crises in her family.
In 2004 Neha and his Brother Tony Kakkar left Delhi and Moved to Mumbai to make a career in singing. After 2 years she gave the audition in Indian Idol season 2 at the age of 16.
