Genevieve O’Reilly was raised in Adelaide, Australia, after being born on January 6, 1977, in Dublin, Ireland. The oldest of four siblings, she is. O’Reilly travelled to Sydney at the age of twenty to enrol in the National Institute of Dramatic Art, from which he received his degree in 2000. Genevieve O’Reilly has made appearances in a number of Australian-filmed projects, including both of the Matrix sequels. She also played the lead character of Dash MacKenzie in the 2004 Singaporean science fiction film Avatar. O’Reilly made his debut on television in 2001 as a guest star in the episode “Slayer’s Return” of the Canadian series BeastMaster.
