Genevieve O’Reilly was raised in Adelaide, Australia, after being born on January 6, 1977, in Dublin, Ireland. The oldest of four siblings, she is. O’Reilly travelled to Sydney at the age of twenty to enrol in the National Institute of Dramatic Art, from which he received his degree in 2000. She and her husband, Luke Mulvihill, immigrated to the UK in 2005, settling in East London. They are parents of a daughter and a son.
