Brandon Figueroa is an American professional boxer. Between May 2021 and November 2021, he held the WBC super bantamweight championship, and from 2019 to November 2021, the WBA (Regular) super bantamweight championship.

Career
On May 9, 2015, Figueroa faced Hector Gutierrez in his professional debut. He received a unanimous decision victory. Over the following four years, he compiled an 18-0 record with 13 stoppage victories.
Figueroa vs. Castro – On July 9, 2022, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, Figueroa was scheduled to compete in a featherweight title eliminator against Carlos Castro, the fifth-ranked WBC featherweight contender. The fight was slated to take place before the bout for the WBC featherweight championship between champion Mark Magsayo and rival Rey Vargas. After stopping Castro with a barrage of punches at the 2:11 minute mark of the sixth round, Figueroa successfully defended his position as the -650 betting favorite.
At the time of the stoppage, he had two judges’ scores of 49:45 and 48:46 in his favour, while Castro had one judge’s score of 48:46. Castro was ahead on the scorecards. Figueroa knocked Castro down once prior the stoppage, with a left in the third round.
Figueroa vs. Fulton II – On November 9, 2022, the WBC sanctioning body approved a fight between Figueroa and Stephen Fulton for the interim featherweight championship because Rey Vargas, the current featherweight champion, had been granted a one-fight exemption to compete for the vacant super featherweight title. This fight was a rematch of their first encounter, which Fulton won by decision on November 27, 2021.
